LONDON: PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif has sued the publisher of British newspaper the Mail on Sunday, Mail Online and its reporter David Rose.
Shehbaz had hired the services of renowned British law firm Carter Ruck to sue the media house.
The development came after the publication of a ‘politically motivated’ article authored by David Rose accusing Shehbaz Sharif of stealing UK’s Department for International Development (DFID) fund meant for 2005 earthquake victims.
According to a local news channel, Shehbaz Sharif will be represented by Alasdair Pepper, Antonia Foster and Victoria Anderson.
