LAHORE: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has granted a 14-day physical remand of PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif on Tuesday.
The PML-N president was produced before the accountability court here.
The court directed to produce the PML-N leader on Oct 13.
Earlier on Monday, the PML-N president was arrested from the Lahore High Court after his bail plea was rejected in the money laundering and owning assets beyond known income cases.
Police told the court that Hamza Shehbaz could not appear as he was tested positive for coronavirus.
In an informal talk with the media on the court premises, the PML-N president said that the NAB-Niazi nexus had failed.
Strict security measures have been taken outside the accountability court during the appearance of Shehbaz Sharif.
