LONDON: Shehbaz Sharif, the Leader of Opposition in National Assembly has urged the government to launch an immediate probe into the flour crisis.
Sharif, is a statement issued on Sunday, said that the nation should be informed that who ordered an export of wheat and flour and who benefited from it.
Earlier in the day, Federal Minister for National Food Security and Research Khusro Bakhtiar had claimed that the prices of flour and wheat would start reducing from tomorrow (Monday) and the artificial crisis will end within the next four to five days.
The minister said that yesterday (Saturday) the National Logistic Cell (NLC) had handed over 9000 tonnes of wheat to Sindh.
