Singh High court on Tuesday issued a contempt of court notice to IG Sindh Ghulam Haider Jamali over not pursuing court orders.
The court hearing the case of illegal construction issued the notice to IG Sindh who is in Islamabad for his personal work.
The court had ordered to free the railway cooperative society land and demolish all illegal construction on the land.
The hearing of the case was performed by two member bench headed by Justice Sajjad Ali.
Despite court order IG Sindh was not present before the court while IG Karachi Mushtaq Mahar attended the hearing.
The court issued the notice to the IG over not presenting before the court and suspended the hearing.
