KARACHI: Sindh High Court Chief Justice Ahmed Ali Sheikh on Monday directed speedy disposal of cases in line with the National Judicial Policy.
The SHC chief justice was chairing a meeting of the district and sessions judges.
Justice Ahmed Ali Sheikh directed to the session judges to dispose of rent cases within two to four months.
He also ordered to entertain family cases on priority basis.
The SHC chief justice directed the DIGs to stop salaries of those police officers who do not appear before courts for witness. He added that a stern action would be taken against officials who avoid giving evidence before court.
