KARACHI: The Sindh High Court (SHC) on Thursday approved interim bail of former provincial minister Sharjeel Memon in two cases over surety bonds of Rs 2 million each. Sharjeel Memon is facing corruption allegations worth five billion and 77 crore rupees while he had announced to face all the charges. Talking to media outside the Sindh High Court, Sharjeel Memon said his hands are clean otherwise he would not have returned to the country. Earlier, Islamabad High Court (IHC) had granted a 15-day protective bail to Sharjeel Memon over surety bond of two million rupees. It is pertinent here to mention here that Sharjeel Memon was detained by National Accountability Bureau (NAB) immediately after his plane coming from Dubai landed at the Islamabad airport.
