Australian superstar all-rounder Shane Watson has signed up for Pakistan Super League (PSL), retired batsman will now be a part of the draft process which takes place in December.
PSL already signed star like Kevin Pietersen and Chris Gayle, and Australians Brad Haddin and Brad Hodge and latest signing of Watson would take the league to another level.
“I am very excited to be involved in the inaugural PSL,” said Watson, who last month told sport website that he was interested in playing in the tournament.
“There are a lot of world class players involved so I can’t wait to be a part of it.”
Watson is the 152nd foreign player to join the PSL for the December draft according to the Pakistan Cricket Board.
Only 20 of the 152 will play in the tournament with each of the five PSL sides allowed to draft four international players.
The tournament will run from February 4 to 24 with matches in Dubai and Sharjah. However, these dates overlap with Australia’s tour of New Zealand.
