LAHORE: Shaheen Air plane crash landing on Tuesday left 10 passengers injured at Allama Iqbal International Airport, Lahore.
Sources said that over 100 people reportedly on board on the passenger plane. Initial reports said one of the plane’s tyre had burst, causing it to skid off the runway. Other reports said the plane suffered a technical fault. All passengers are said to have been evacuated to safety.
Civil Aviation Authority said that passenger plane’s nozzle, landing gear windows and right wing damaged in the accident. CAA has launched investigation to unearth the reason of the emergency landing.
