ISLAMABAD: PML-N Vice-President Maryam Nawaz on Wednesday categorically denied any representative of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif held a meeting with Army Chief Gen Bajwa.
She was speaking to the media outside the Islamabad High Court here.
Maryam Nawaz said that she was unaware of the any reported dinner at the General Headquarters (GHQ). She added that PML-N President Shahbaz Sharif did not meet with Army Chief.
She said that if the PML-N president wanted to part ways, he would have been a prime minister today. He gave priority to his brother (Nawaz Sharif) over the premiership. Shahbaz Sharif is a loyal brother and will never separate, she added.
