ISLAMABAD: Leader of Opposition in Pakistan’s National Assembly Khursheed Shah said on Wednesday that federal government and ministers shall stop the blame game over power crisis in this hour of need.

Speaking in the National Assembly today, Shah said that the PML-N led federal government shall provide additional power to people of Karachi in this hour of need instead of blaming past governments.

“If the federal government wants to take over K-Electric, we will support the move”, said an angry Khursheed Shah.

Earlier, PML-N leader Khawaja Asif blamed past governments for the country wide power crisis and Sindh government for the current crisis during the heatwave which resulted in more than 720 deaths.
