ISLAMABAD: Pakistan People Party (PPP) senior leader Khursheed Shah on Thursday said that a war can ensue if some force tries to persecute the PPP co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari.
Speaking to media after an accountability court in Karachi issued arrest warrants against senior party leaders Amin Fahim and Yousaf Raza Gilani.
“Whatever is happening is happening in Sindh”, said Shah while referring to the anti-corruption activities being carried out in the province.
He claimed that another PPP stalwart, the former PM Raja Pervez Ashraf is being booked in a grey trafficking case, warning that such activities can lead to ‘war’ if they turn towards co-chairman nd former president Asif Ali Zardari.
Shah, who also serves as opposition leader in National Assembly said that PM Nawaz should remember that political parties are his hands adding that PPP is ready to talk with PM.
