PESHAWAR: Death toll of Shabqadar blast reached to 18 on Tuesday as another injured succumbed to his injures in the hospital.
A suicide bomber exploded himself outside the district court when a security guard intercepted him. Security was beefed up in Shabqadar following the attack, with entry and exit routes of the tehsil closed down. Shabqadar is adjacent to the Mohmand tribal area, which has seen several attacks in recent days.
Police have lodged an FIR against the unidentified militants and launched investigation.
