RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif on the Defence Day, said that September 6 was an emblem of their valor and sacrifices.
He said in his message that Pakistan’s armed forces would not flinch back from rendering any services or sacrifices, required for the Nation.
His message read out by Major Amir at a ceremony held in Quetta to commemorate the martyrs on the Defence Day.
COAS said in the statement that the country’s borders were well protected and added that the armed forces would guard the borders at all costs.
While talking about the ongoing Zarb-e-Azb Operation, the Army Chief asserted that the operation is in its last legs and it would definitely obtain its targets soon.
The COAS said that September 6 is an emblem of their valor and added that Pakistan’s armed forces were considered as one of the best and modern armed forces of the world.
