LAHORE: Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Ameer Senator Sirajul Haq left here on Saturday to pay a week-long visit to Britain.
During his visit, the JI chief would meet members of the Pakistani community in different cities of UK.
Before his departure, Sirajul Haq appointed Liaqat Baloch as acting JI chief during his absence abroad. Liaqat Baloch took the oath of his office at a simple ceremony and assumed his new responsibilities.
