ISLAMABAD: The Senate will begin its session at the Parliament House tomorrow (Monday) afternoon with Chairman Mian Raza Rabbani in the chair.
The upper house of the parliament will take up important issues including the newly enforced ordinance amending the NAB ordinance, 1999 curtailing the powers of NAB chairman regarding plea bargain and Voluntary Return.
The ordinance has been enforced on Saturday night and came into effect immediately while the Finance Minister Senator Ishaq Dar said that the parliament was fully empowered to make any amendments before passage by the two houses.
According to agenda, several private members bills will also be introduced in the Upper House and a number of resolutions are also on the agenda.
