Senate passes resolution against Muslims genocide in Burma

Pakistani Upper House, Senate, has unanimously passed resolution against genocide of Rohingya Muslims in Burma.

The resolution was submitted by Senator Mushahid Hussain in the House, the head of Senate committee for defense affairs, in context to raise voice on international level to take firm measures for crisis-hit Muslims in Burma.

The resolution urged UN to take earliest notice of brutalities against unarmed and innocent humans. The resolution also demanded federal government to observe June 12 as solidarity day with oppressed Muslims in Myanmar, Burma.
