ISLAMABAD: It has been decided to issue production orders for all the detained members of the National Assembly for the coming Senate elections.
Opposition leader Shahbaz Sharif, parliamentary leader PML-N Khawaja Asif, PPP’s Khurshid Shah and former FATA MPA Ali Wazir are also in jail.
Sources said that a request has been made to the Speaker to issue a production order for the four members of the National Assembly.
They said that Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser has decided to issue production orders for all the detained members.
According to sources in the Opposition Leader’s Office, every member has the right to vote. Production orders of detained members will be issued.
