QUETTA: Following the Sehwan carnage in Sindh province, security has been put on high alert across Balochistan province and law enforcement personnel have been deployed on entry and exit points of the province.
Police sources said that Chief Minister Balochistan, Nawab Sanaullah Khan Zehri directed the officials concerned to beef up security to ensure maintenance of law & order and safety of life and property of people.
The law enforcement personnel from all law enforcement agencies including Frontier Corps Balochistan, Police, Levies Force and Balochistan Constabulary have been deployed on all entry and exit points of the province.
Law enforcement agencies have also increased their patrolling on borders with Sindh and Punjab province and especially with neighboring countries-Iran and Afghanistan.
Meanwhile, the Chief Minister strongly condemned acts of terror took place at Lal Shahbaz Qalandar shrine in Sehwan in Sindh province and in Awaran district of Balochistan province.
