ISLAMABAD: A day after Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) called off their Islamabad lockdown, section-144 was lifted across Punjab.
Punjab Home Ministry had imposed section-144 across Punjab from October 30 to November 8 to bar PTI workers’ arrival in Islamabad.
Earlier today PTI was issued a No Objection Certificate (NOC) by the Islamabad administration for their rally in Parade Ground.
An application was submitted by PTI seeking permission for holding the rally.
The party also presented an undertaking assuring that the rally will not exceed the Parade Ground premises.
