PESHAWAR: More than 30 suspected persons were held during search operation on Friday in strike areas of Peshawar while a huge cache of arms and hashish recovered from their possession.

According to sources, security forces and police personnel conducted joint search operation against criminals in the limits of Phando station and arrest more than 30 suspects including 10 Afghan nationals residing illegally. Three TT pistol, 70 rounds and huge cache of arms hashish were recovered from arrested accused.

Security forces, police, lady police and BDS personnel with sniffer dogs participated in search operation. However, under-arrest people have been shifted to Phando Station for further interrogation.

Meanwhile, CTD arrested one terrorist in the area of Swabi identified later as Waseem, suspected terrorist involved in many criminal and killing cases.
