KARACHI: The schedule for recruitment in Special Security Unit which is the Pakistan’s first ISO certified Police Organization has been announced as under. The Special Security Unit provides equal opportunity to women and also encouraged them to apply.
It is mentioned here that 63000 applications including 55000 for Commandos and 8000 for Civilian Staff have been received in National Testing Services (NTS) for recruitment in Special Security Unit.
The SSU has been recruiting on pure merits since it’s creation. In the past all fresh recruitments were made through NTS and were made purely on the basis of merit.
The Physical Test of Commandos, Lady Commandos and Constable Drivers will be held from August 15 to 23, 2016 and the candidates who qualified the Physical Test will be allowed to appear in Written and Psychometric (Aptitude Test) which will be held on August 28, 2016.
The Written and Psychometric (Aptitude Test) for Junior Clerks will be held on August 21, 2016while Typing Test will be held on August 28, 2016.
The Written and Psychometric (Aptitude Test) for Waiter, Cook, Auto-Mechanic and Sanitary Worker will be held on August 21, 2016 while Demonstration Test will be held on August 28, 2016.
It is pointed out that in case of Commandos, Lady Commandos and Constable Drivers, the Written Test will only be taken from the candidates who qualify the first Physical Test. Whereas in case of Civilian Staff, the Typing or Demonstration Test will be taken from the candidates who qualify the first Written Test.
