ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister of Pakistan Mian Mohammad Nawaz Sharif that Supreme Court of Pakistan has given the historic verdict on the formation of military court.

PM expressing his views in National Assembly session said that the historic verdict over 18th and 21st Amendments will bring positive results in the country.

He said several political parties had their reservations on the amendments but now court’s decision should clear their concerns.

Nawaz said that our forces are fighting against terrorism and this verdict will deter the resolve of the terrorists.

PM Nawaz said he had appealed to Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazal (JUI-F) and Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) to take back their resolution seeking to de-seat Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)  from the assembly but the matter is not solved as per his [Nawaz] thoughts.

He said he had also made committees to meet the leadership of both parties in order to take back their resolution but the answer didn’t come yet.

Nawaz Sharif once again repeated his stance that Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) will not support the resolution.

He once again asked both parties to take their resolutions back.

On this occasion commenting on PTI chairman Imran Khan’s press conference, he said the language which Imran used for Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman hurt him [Nawaz]. Imran should have avoided it, PM added.
