ISLAMABAD: Supreme Court of Pakistan (SC) on Thursday suspended implementation on military court verdict of death sentence to six terrorists.
The SC decision has come up as the SC full court, 17 member bench heard a petition against 18th and 21st constitutional amendments.
The bench remarked that the military court cannot issues verdict as its validity has not been decided.
The apex court also has issued notice to Attorney General of Pakistan.
The government has formed military courts in the country under National Action Plan after barbaric attack on PAS on December 16.
These military courts were set up under the 21st constitutional amendment, which has been challenged in the Supreme Court
