KARACHI: The Supreme Court rejected the review petition of the demolition of Nasla Tower and directed the Commissioner Karachi to vacate the tower within a month.
A review case related to demolition of Nasla Tower was heard in the Supreme Court Karachi Registry by Chief Justice of Pakistan on Wednesday.
Lawyer Nasla Tower Munir A. Malik told the court that Commissioner Karachi is lying in his report, you are sitting here for justice, if you send someone to see the service lane, the court will only see if there are encroachments on the service lane.
Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Gulzar Ahmed remarked that there is no service road on which lawyer Munir A. Malik said that if we have occupied the service road then demolish it.
The Supreme Court rejected the review petition and directed the Commissioner to vacate the tower within a month and issued notices to the Sindh government, director Anti-Encroachment and other concerned agencies.
