ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court of Pakistan on Wednesday accepted appeals filed by alcohol dealers from Sindh challenging the Sindh High Court’s order to shut all liquor shops in the province.
The SC invalidated the SHC’s order to shut down all the liquor shops across the province.
The apex court sent the matter to the SHC to hear all the petitioners before judgment.
Justice Saqib Nisar said this is a legal matter and we cannot indulge into a debate whether the sale of wine is legal or not.
