ISLAMABAD: A five-member bench of the Supreme Court on Friday resumed hearing of the Panama Papers case.

Justice Asif Saeed Khosa is heading the larger bench.

Maryam Nawaz in her written reply submitted before the court dismissed all allegations against her. She said she was only trustee and signatory of companies. She denied she is beneficial owner of the property.

She also gave details of five houses located Raiwand estate. The PM’s daughter said that in one house her grandmother Shamim Akhtar lives, in the second her parents reside, in the third her late uncle Abbas Sharif’s family, in the fourth Shahbaz Sharif while she lives in in the fifth one.

During the proceedings, PTI counsel Naeem Bukhari is giving his arguments. He claimed that Nawaz Sharif was actual owner of London flats, which were purchased between 1993 and 1996. Maryan Nawaz was very young at that time. Bukhari adde that Maryam Nawaz was beneficiary of the flats.

The PTI’s counsel told the court that at the time of buying these flats Maryam Nawaz had no source of income.

Justice Azmat Saeed that dispute there is only a dispute of trustee and beneficial owner in the case.
