Saudi King Salman Bin Abdulaziz has sent condolence to French President Francois Hollande over horrific series of deadly attacks that claimed more than 129 lives in the capital Paris.
The state-owned Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported that King Salman has made telephonic conversation with President Hollande to express his condolence over the loss of precious lives.
‘We learned about the pain and the sadness of the terrorist attacks in Paris… We express our condemnation for this repugnant terrorist act and offer our condolences to your excellency, the French people and the families of the victims,’ SPA quoted King Salman as saying.
The king also said he hoped for a ‘speedy recovery” for the 300 injured people, “urging for an international concerted effort to fight this dangerous scourge – unaccepted by any religion and international norms – and to rid the international community of its evils.’
The Saudi king is currently in Turkey for participation in the G20 Summit.
Meanwhile, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Nayef and Deputy Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman have also sent a cable to offer his condolences and expressed condemnation remarks over ‘the criminal act.’
