ISLAMABAD: State Minister for Information Technology Anusha Rahman has said that Saudi companies will invest four billion dollars in IT sector. She said that they would increase the volume of IT export to four million dollars by 2020.
She was addressing a ceremony conducted by Pakistan Telecom Authority to encourage students and experts who showed prominent performance in IT sector.
She said that they had approved Universal Tele Centre Program, through which 500 new Tele Centers will be opened. It is a project of 11 billion dollars. Anusha said that 300 people were given internship in Telecom companies.
