RIYADH: Saudi Arabia has decided to form its national cricket team to represent the kingdom at the international level in the popular sports.
According to an Arab media report, Saudi Arabia Cricket Federal Chairman Prince Saud bin Mishal Al Saud said that the kingdom under its Vision 2030 was eyeing to form the national cricket team. Under the Vision 2030, Saudi Arabia has planned to promote various sports in the country.
Prince Saud bin Mishal Al Saud added that under the Vision 2030 youth would be encouraged to adopt healthy lifestyle.
“I am keen to see more Saudis playing cricket in the country. We will promote the sports in schools activities and community programmes,” he added.
