Sattar urges govt to stop treating Karachi as stepmother

KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan (MQM-P) Chief Farooq Sattar has said that Karachi is the revenue hub of Sindh and Pakistan, while he urged the Federation and Provincial governments to stop treating Karachi as step mother.

MQM Pakistan chief Farooq Sattar has launched cleaning campaign in Gulshan-e-Iqbal Karachi. While briefing the media, Farooq Sattar said that MQM Mayor and his team are representatives of Karachi and they are not representative to any particular class.

Farooq Sattar appealed all political parties for cooperation, saying that all political parties should attend his program. He said that during the first week of 100 days, 40 UCs will be made as a model Ucs, while he vowed to change the map of Karachi. He further said that our slogan is ‘limited resources and unlimited passion’, while he vowed to work on that basis and will soon launch cleanliness campaing in Hyderabad, Mirpur Khas, Sukkur including other cities of Sindh.
