GUJRANWALA: Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah on Saturday said that if court issued arrest warrants for former president Gen. (retd) Pervez Musharraf then he would be brought back through Interpol.

The court has not ordered for placing Musharraf’s name on the exit control list (ECL) in any case. “If warrants are issued then he will be brought back to Pakistan through Interpol,” he said while talking to the media persons here.

The minister said that allegation against the MQM for receiving funds from RAW was not new. “The interior minister has constituted a committee and a case will be registered against MQM chief and other leaders who found guilty in this regard if solid evidence was found in this regard,” he said.

He said that approach of religious leaders on Women Protection Act was not appropriate.

Letters have been sent to the religious scholars seeking their help to make amendment if the Act has any lapses.
