LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif on Sunday said that Sahiwal coal power plant would be completed by the end of 2017.
Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal called the Punjab CM and discussed the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor project. Country’s current situation also came under discussion in the meeting.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that C-PEC is a game changer project for the progress of Pakistan. He said that the projects under C-PEC will benefit both Pakistan as well as the whole region.
Shahbaz said that day and night work is being done on the 1320-MW Sahiwal coal power plant, which will be completed by the end of next year.
