Safora carnage: Intelligence agencies made two arrest after tracing foreign telephone calls

KARACHI: Important development has been made in investigation into the barbaric Safora carnage in Karachi as intelligence agencies have traced out two foreign telephone calls which were called after Safora massacre and the agencies also rounded up two people in chasing the calls, sources said.

According to the sources, the investigation into the Safaro incident is underway in two phases and police were waiting for forensic report of the incident.

The police also probing involvement of banned outfits in the deadly incidents. While sources said that country’s intelligence agencies have intercepted two telephone calls from abroad and did chase the calls and rounded up two people.

It is pertinent to mention here that as many as 46 people including 16 women were killed in the horrific attack on Isamaili community bus  in Karachi.
