KARACHI: Sindh Education Minister Saeed Ghani on Thursday hinted at the imposition of another lockdown in case of rise in the coronavirus cases.
Speaking on a local TV show, the provincial education minister said that vacations have been announced in Peshawar and some cities in Punjab. Spring vacations are not observed in Sindh, he added.
Saeed Ghani said that a rise in the coronavirus cases has so far been recorded in only 10 to 12 cities. However, we may go to lockdown if situation gets worse in coming days.
He added: “We had opposed opening of 100 per cent when Education Minister Shafqat Mahmood recommended to fully open the schools.
