ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) central information secretary Shireen Mazari praised verdict of the election tribunal over nullifying federal railways’ minister Khawaja Saad Rafique in NA-125 constituency following irregularities during 2013 general election.
Shireen Mazari urged Khawaja Saad Rafique to accept verdict of the election tribunal despite crying injustice. She was addressing press conference, said that Rafique should silently accept the verdict as the election tribunal was not formed by PTI.
She complained that the tribunal took two years to announce verdict despite four months, however, it has been proved rigging in the constituency. She expected same decisions in other constituencies including NA-122.
Mazari admitted that PTI faced set back in Local Bodies’ election in cantonment areas and PTI leadership was reviewing its mistakes.
