MOSCOW: Russian President Vladimir Putin has said that Russia was not a threat to the West. While in an interview he said that he was still committed to a Ukraine peace deal.
He ruled out any major conflict between Russia and NATO. Putin said that the world has changed alot that people in their right mind could not imagine such a large-scale military conflict that day. He said that they had other thing to do.
Putin said that the only a sick person and even then only in his sleep could imagine that Russia would suddenly attack on NATO. Putin stressed that Russia merely sought to defend itself from outside threats.
He continued that NATO members had defence expenditures that are 10 times as compare to Russia. Putin alleged that the US military budget was the biggest in the world.
