Rumours of higher number of confirmed cases of coronavirus 100pc wrong: PM’s aide

RAWALPINDI: Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Health Dr Zafar Mirza on Wednesday rejected the rumours that the number of confirmed cases of coronavirus are higher than those being reported.

He dismissed the rumours that due to ongoing Pakistan Super League matches the confirmed cases were being understated.

Talking to the media here, he termed the rumours “100 per cent incorrect’.

Currently, the fifth edition of PSL is underway in the country.
