MANSURA: Ameer Jamaat e Islami Senator Sirajul Haq on Thursday said the rulers had badly failed in acting upon their mandate as they were not taking any issue seriously.

‘The country is victim of crisis. Privatisation is not new while the rulers are trying to snatch bread from poor’s mouth,’ he said while addressing a meeting with National Labor Federation in Mansura.

He said the prime minister was negating two nations theory by talking about liberal Pakistan. Our constitution has our country’s name as Islamic Democratic Pakistan.

‘We wish that the government completes its tenure, however its behavior suggests as if it is in a hurry to go home. Revolution could be arisened before elections. Country is not built on selling organisations but building new ones,’ he said.

He said Indian Muslims were being targeted for their religious identity. Hindu extremism is on rise and Muslims were being threatened to leave the country.
