ISLAMABAD: Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid on Friday said that sixteen billion rupees will be spent for the completion of Lowari Tunnel this year.
Addressing the oath taking ceremony of newly elected office bearers of Chitral Press Club on Friday, he pointed out that over the last many decades only seven billion rupees were spent on this important project.
He said the government is giving priority to this project which will pave way for the development of this area. The Information Minister urged the local journalists to highlight the beauty of Chitral.
On the occasion, Pervaiz Rashid announced a grant of two hundred thousand rupees for Chitral Press Club.
