PM Shehbaz fixes minimum wage at Rs25,000

Islamabad: The government will provide Rs12, 000 to each family to be affected by ongoing lockdown being implemented due to coronavirus in the country.

This was stated by Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Social Protection and Poverty Alleviation Dr Sania Nishtar in her Twitter message on Tuesday.

She said that the money would be provided under the Ehsaas Emergency Cash Programme.

Dr Nishtar added that a total of 67 million people would benefit under the programme.
