ISLAMABAD: Over ninety thousand borrowers have so far received loans worth 1,973 million rupees under Prime Minister’s Interest Free Loan Scheme in 44 districts of the country.
Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif had inaugurated the 3.5 billion rupees Scheme in June last year to support micro-enterprise activities for the poor in rural areas.
The Scheme is being implemented by Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund through its 25 partner organizations.
