MAKKAH: The Saudi government on Saturday announced to reopen the Roza-e-Rasool (PBUH) for pilgrims from the 1st of Rabi-ul-Awwal.
The management of the Haramain Sharifain in a message posted on Twitter announced that the Roza-e-Rasool (PBUH) will be reopened after two weeks on the 1st of Rabi-ul-Awwal for the pilgrims to offer Salam.
The first stage of entering the Noble Rawdah and offering Salam to the Prophet of Allah ﷺ will start in two weeks 01/03/1442 via the Etamarna application at 75% of the maximum capacity with maintaining the precautionary measures.

Meanwhile, the Saudi government has also announced to resume the Umrah after seven months of restrictions from tomorrow (Oct 4).
The kingdom has allowed its citizens and foreign nationals residing inside the kingdom to perform Umrah from October 4 after a months of suspension in the wake of coronavirus pandemic.
In the first phase, 6,000 citizens and residents will be allowed to perform Umrah daily from Oct 4. The second phase will start from Oct 18 while the third from Nov 1, in which the pilgrims from the countries deemed safe will be allowed to perform Umrah.
Earlier in March, the Saudi government had banned Umrah to stop the spread of coronavirus.
