Cristiano Ronaldo scored his 700th career goal as he converted a 72nd minute penalty in Portugal’s 1-2 defeat against Ukraine in Euro 2020 qualifier on Monday.
This was his 95 goal for his country. He netted 450 times for Real Madrid, 118 for Manchester United, 32 for Juventus and five for Sporting.
Despite Ronald’s theatrics, Ukraine advanced to the Euro 2020 finals after an impressive first half helped them to a 2-1 home win over Portugal.
