At least 14 members of a family including women and children have lost their lives following a roadside bomb explosion carried out in Marja district of Helmand province.
First major attack in the Muslim Holy month of Ramadan lodged in volatile south part of Afghanistan that claimed 14 lives in Helmand province on Saturday, foreign news agency reported.
Helmand deputy provincial governor Mohammad Jan Rasolyar confirmed that the killed 14 civilians and five wounded people were belonging to the same family.
However, no group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
