KABUL: A road side planted bomb killed as many as five civilians and three others injured on Tuesday (today) in Afghanistan’s southern province of Kandahar, police said
“A mine planted by terrorists on a road in Arghistan district struck Tuesday (today) killing five people, all civilians, on the spot and injuring three others, including a mother and her child,” Zia Durani, a provincial police spokesman told media men.
Violence usually increases in spring and summer in Afghanistan, commonly known as fighting season among the war-weary Afghans.
