Kabaddi World Cup scheduled to be held in India from Oct 14 has been cancelled following protests which broke out after desecration of Sikh religious scriptures in the so-called democratic country.
Several teams including Australia, Britain, Canada and New Zealand refused to participate in the event because of threats from Shiv Sina extremists.
