LAHORE: Punjab government spokesperson Hassan Khawar has admitted that responsibility of any incident lies on the incumbent government of that time.

Addressing a presser here on Saturday, the spokesperson said that the incident of Murree is sad as tourists in four vehicles had died. Quoting the Rescue-1122, Khawar said that a total of 21 tourists had lost their lives.

Murree had received five-feet snow during the last two days, which caused tourists to stuck, the Punjab government spokesperson said.

He said that the number of tourists present in Murree were being monitored since last and entry of further visitors were stopped.

He said that Murree and its suburbs had been declared as calamity-hit area and all the provincial government departments are working to remove tourists while the services of Pak Army and Rangers have also been taken.

The spokesperson appealed to the public not to visit Murree for the next few days.
