Punjab Assembly has passed the resolution to present ‘Nishan-e-Pakistan’ to late Jamaat-e-Islami Bangladesh Ameer Motiur Rahman Nizami.
JI Bangladesh Ameer was executed on May 11, 2016 for supporting joint Pakistan during 1971.
The resolution was presented by Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) Allauddin Shaikh which was unanimously passed by the assembly.
In his resolution PML-N leader demanded to the house that JI’s martyred leader should be honoured with ‘Nishan-e-Pakistan’ for supporting joint Pakistan and love for the country.
It is pertinent to mention here that, JI Bangladesh Ameer was hanged to death on May 11 at Dhaka Central Jail.
