LAHORE: A resolution has been moved in Punjab Assembly against Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s ‘self-imposed exile’ on Wednesday.

Leader of the Opposition, Mehmoodur Rasheed presented the resolution which demanded the premier to return to the country immediately.

The resolution states a fair warning to the PM about his premiership as the opposition leader wrote the nation would be forced to ‘think’ if Nawaz Sharif is interested in solving people s issues or not.

Opposition leader belonging to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has further demanded the Prime Minister to table his resignation as soon as he returns.

The premier is on a doctors’ advised rest in London since after his open-heart surgery last month.
