LAHORE: A spokesman for the Punjab Health Department has denied reports of malfunctioning of E-vaccs in Punjab.
“The reports of malfunction of E-vaccs are not true and the department has updated and complete database of vaccinators performance and attendance,” he said.
E-vaccs is an android based application used to monitor vaccinators attendance and performance through the Punjab Information Technology Board.
“It was reported that E-vaccs attendance was not being uploaded for a month, which is not true,” the spokesman added.
He said after the introduction of technology-based monitoring, vaccinators attendance has risen to 97 per cent from 50 per cent in the last 16 months.
